Located in Rockport, Massachusetts, Motif Number One is a favorite subject of both artists and photographers. The original was destroyed during the Blizzard of 1978. During that same year the structure was rebuilt as an exact replica.
I was introduced to the world of photography as a child with the gift of my first Kodak Instamatic camera. My photographic equipment has evolved from various Instamatics, to manual SLR's, to my present Nikon D40X. I'm often asked what "type" of photography I do. I like to describe my photography as a "walkabout" genre. I enjoy capturing nature, wildlife, travel destinations, national parks, and everything in between during "walkabouts". As a member of the South Shore Camera Club, my work has been recognized consistently with First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention awards. It has been recognized by a local newspaper as one of the top annual "reader favorites", was selected as part of the 2010 Digital Photo Academy Traveling...
